So yeah, you might run into powerful tanks impossible to get, because they simply don't get sold anymore. I was around when they removed the E-25, a pretty strong T7 tank destroyer. While it is debateable if Premium tanks are better or worse than standard tanks performancewise, there are a few of them that got removed from the store because too many players owned them. And last time I checked, WG refused to balance premium tanks after releasing them. Monthly number of average concurrent players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2. Some of them also have adjusted matchmaking. Warzone 2 reached its all-time peak about 11 hours ago, hitting a total of 452k active players simultaneously. They have a higher credit and experience income, suffer no penalty from changing crews and - since they are already fully equipped - offer accelerated crewtraning from the start. You can, of course, always buy a Premium tank.
From T8 and onwards, it is impossible to gain credits unless you are constantly in the upper third of your team. The grind in this game is something no sane person would call reasonable. So you can either save up credits for some rounds and use premium ammo for one match OR you just buy them with real money.
After the blockbuster release of Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2. It is super expensive and it is close to impossible make profit if you use it every round. Activision is having a ball in the latter half of 2022 thanks to its Call of Duty franchise. Premium ammo is a stupid idea on its own, but lets not talk about that.
